Salad growing masterclass - Tue 3 Mar 10am-1pm

It really doesn't get better than freshly picked salad leaves, in our opinion! Learn how to get a delicious and varied salad crop all year round with our Head of Growth (and master salad grower) Ximena Ransom.

What we'll cover:

• How to create a beautiful salad mix all year round
• Choice of crops for your space; incorporating flowers, herbs and unusual varieties
• Successional seed sowing for salad all year round
• How to harvest - whole heads vs leaves 
• Identifying pests and diseases 
• Growing in a changing climate

The course takes place on our 2 acre farm in the London Borough of Greenwich, surrounded by ancient trees and thriving hedgerows. Please note the session will take place outside and in our polytunnel in case of rain.
